I thoroughly enjoyed his clinic when I saw him.
Cat has a thick pocket & a heavy groove. And he's tasty, musically. Oh, & for those of you, he DOES have chops, too [img]wink.gif[/img] , & played to tracks - funk, pocket, & some latin, with a nice latin/fusion solo.
Of course, this was all b4 his "new" look with Lenny...sort of an Old Days Prince holdover...

I was going to rent one of his dw kits for a gig, but it was a little over-priced, especially since I have a dw kit of my own. Besides I think he only played it once or something.

I wonder what he looks like under that hat.

If you like Zoro's playing and want to learn about the history of R&B and Soul drumming, it's GREAT.

If not, I'd pass on it. It's very similar to Steve Smith's DVD's in it's presentation and delivery.
